Have my sled in the shop doing the usual pre winter checks (plugs, coolant, DD oil change, inspection). With the back of the sled up on a stand, I was running it to warm it up to check everything. Brapping the throttle and the clutches appear to be operating as usual, but when I let off the gas the track continues to spin, being pulled along slowly at an idle. If I hit the brake it stops, release the brake and the track goes back to slowly spinning. With the eye I cannot tell if the primary is not expanding all the way or if the secondary is the issue.
Sled has an SLP single pipe setup. Last winter I added a 40/36 helix and the small bearing that the secondary spring rides on. Primary clutch has not been worked on at least 3 years and ~1500 miles.
I also had quite a good amount of oil come out when I removed the bolt that holds the secondary clutch on. Is that normal? I cannot remember it ever happening in the past when I have changed the DD oil.
Any insight is appreciated.
