2007 800r Warranty

Has anyone had any issues with getting warranty on their 800r near or just past the warranty expiry?

Looking at buying a 2007 with the original motor that is still under extended warranty, but a bit concerned as the 07's all seem to fail. Is skidoo pretty good about their warranty or not?

I have heard that ski-doo has been pretty good as far the problem with the 07s. I have talked to a couple of guys who have gotten new short blocks. (of course i didnt find this out untill i had mine tore down!!) I had a crank bearing on mine lock up, but i love the sled and the power of the 800R.

my crank bearing seized 2 weeks ago, my warranty was up in nov.
my dealer got approval to warranty it so i have a new short block coming courtesy of BRP. my advice would be to go talk to your local dealer and get his .02
