2006 RMK 600 HO - Recommendations

Could I use my 22T top and 41T Bottom with my present chain? 1.86....

If I could use what I have would be better than going out and buying a 40T bottom.

Could not get the 64-40 helix that attaches with the 8 torque screws which mine has.

They sent a 66-42 .46 helix instead? The Team 719 is 66-44-42 .46/.25/.25......will this help at all?

The 66/42 should also have a second track, should be 66/40. The .46 intial will work much better than the 719, the 719 stays on a high ramp for .46 and then transitions to a ramp the 600 has difficulty with (44) and then goes to the stock angle, with your high gearing (currently) you would have to make a LOT more power/torque for it to work the way you want. If this was a 900, the 719 would be the ticket.

I know Carls Cycle would most likely have the 64-40 .46 available.

SLP has a 66-40 .46 part # 50-54 available in their catalog for $99. 50-45 (60-38 .46 or 60-40 .46) may work quite well.

What secondary spring are you running? I may have missed it.

I am running the stock red/black secondary spring and a SLP Black/Pink Primary with 60 gram weights.
I jetted down to 420's and put the 22T top gear I had in 22/39=1.78, and it seems pretty good with the 66-42-.46 helix..and yes it does have a second track but it is 66-44-.46.

The team 719 was stamped on the helix 66-44-42 and this new one is stamped 66-42-46????

Went with the 66-42-.46 Helix and a EPI Yellow Primary Spring 165/310 and a set of Polaris 10-60 weights. The sled really rips now, buddy with the 02 700 VES 136" is now at my mercy and even if he gets out of the hole quicker I can catch him within 100'.

The only concern I have is my max RPM is showing 8450, should I attempt to pull this down with 62 gram weights or a touch higher gearing presently at 22:39. I do not have 62 gram weights but I do have a 23 T top gear.

22/40 like I've been saying along with the 62's and he won't stand a chance! Unless your chain is a bit stretched from heat you won't be able to run 22/41 without a longer chain.

I agree, but I am just trying to utilize the parts I have on hand. 22/40 gears woul d be ideal so if I come across a cheap 40T bottom I will try that. Thanks for all the help.

I'm in the same boat u are. Ive got an 06 600 switch geared 22/39, 64g weights epi yellow orange secondary. Its piped and high compression head but after along talk with carls they suggested I go with 62g weighs, almond, black/purple team secondary, and a 64/44.46. I run below 2000ft with 50/50 off/on trail.
