2005 rmk 900 turbo

Dave the Sled looks great.

This is the second sled with my new design on the kit. New oil tank and charge tube. The 05's run good but the 06's are even faster and you can run more boost due to the 4 injectors. I lowered the kit cost down to $5600.00 also so that should help guys out. If anybody is interested in a kit you can call me at 406-539-3015 or e-mail support@tunewithattitude.com

Once again dave that is a sick sled. Great job.:beer;

Do you make a pump gas version for the 05 900 fusions? Also do they work for us flatlanders in Michigan? I am interested.

Pump gas version is the same price but runs 4-5 lbs of boost. The fusion and RMK are the same kit but I wouldnt have the exact cluthing for a flatlander.

What is the difference in power output?

Would running the pump gas kit be more reliable and less likley to break a drive or jackshaft?

With the kits being the same price IMO it would'nt be worth the money to do a pump gas version. A pump gas kit would'nt be any better than a 975.

HELL YEAH, that is a awsome piece of work did you do the nut turning or shop built i am building a 05 900 166 with a indaydan monster crank 33mm pto boondockers nitorous cat primary with alot of other maditory 900 owner upgrades $$$$.

hertz- are you going to start up a thread on your build? That would be pretty cool.

Turned all the nuts myself. Just so happens I work at a Polaris dealership.

Is the difference in the head? Or is the boost variable?

You would probably have to take some squish out of the head for pump gas as well.
The turbo has an adjustable wastegate for more or less boost.

that is sick! still toyin with the idea of turbo'n my 9! what did you have wrapped up in the turbo setup alone? how do you have the oiling system set up for the turbo too?

I have about $3000.00 in the turbo set-up. The oiling system is basically the same as everyone else is doing when using a auto turbo. It has a oil tank and electric oil pump to oil the turbo.

As far as ride and test reports go, this thing flat out rips. In a good steep pull it will pull 65MPH track speed with 95 grams weight at 8000 FT. Snow was a little heavy and set-up. Still waiting for fresh powder for more testing. Hope we get it soon, I ride with Burandt for a week in late Feb. and I need to finish dialing this thing in.

I am going to reasearch a blow-off valve to eliminate the lag.

A Blow Off Valve is to get rid of the pressurized air in your intake when you let off the throttle. Once all the pressurized air is gone and you get back on the throttle, you have to re-pressurize the air in your intake. So, I wouldn't think that it would help your lagging problem. It would hurt it.

me thinking out loud- Unless, if by releasing the pressurized air you prevented the air from wanting to go the only place it can. Which is back through your turbo slowing down the rpm's in your turbo. Then you have to look at the system on whether it's a "draw through" system or a "blow by" system. That would determine if you should use a recirculated BOV of one that vents to the atmosphere.

VERY nice sled by the way. Got any more under the hood pics?

thats awesome..

so you know burandt..how the heck do you get in with them guys..

also, in one of the replies from you..you said you got the turbo kit for around $3000..?? but its lowered to $5600..(fill me in ;))

Let us know how it runs against the T800's? I am just about ready to order the turbo and start putting it on the sled but am on the fence on goint to newer 09-800T or this?? I would assume it will walk all over the T800's but would like a honest report.

That is one sweet sled! whats the HP on that beast?

Great Job on the Sled! It truly looks amazing!
