2005 or 2006 spindles...how do I know which I have?

I have an 05 900 and an 06 900 parts sled. I understand that the 06 spindles are an improvement over the 05 but I cannot tell the difference. It could be that the 05 was updated to the 06, but how do I tell which ones I have on the 05? I would like to have the 06 on the 05, but if I already do, there is no point in changing them. I have not had either sled long, so I really don't know the history.

2005 spindles look different than any other year. 06 are only a slight improvement if any. 2008 and newer are better. If they look like this picture they are 05 spindles.

Nope, 06 are completely different.

No, 05 are the only ones that look like the picture above. 06 are more like the newer spindles. Google 2006 Polaris 900 RMK see what you get.
