2003 ZX Plug Wires

I figured out my issue on my wifes 600HO ZX. It's either the plug wires or the coils. I put the coil and wires from my 700 on and the stumble went almost completely away. Cleaning the raves will probably do the rest.

I don't want to take my wires off the coil to test because of the %$#@ clip that will break and require another trip to the dealer. Are there aftermarket wires and caps I can purchase? Do I need anything special or just take the wires to NAPA or similar and match them up?

Plug Caps?

My zx seems to go thru a set of caps a year, now I just replace the caps at the start of the season. NGK Caps just screw off, then cut a 1/4 inch of spark plug wire off and screw on a new set. If you have the OEM set that came with the sled just cut the wire as close to the cap as possible and install a new set. Hope this helps. Dino

I had to replace my caps also on my '03 ZX. Use dielectric grease and solid tipped spark plugs and it will work better. :D
