2003 800 rmk crank problem

Just finished tearing down my buddys 2003 800 vertical escape, split the case and the crank was in two pieces, the pin broke on the pto end, heard about all sports in Washington and Indy specialties in Shokapee MN, does anyone have any experience with these guys and what would you reccomend, he wants to do it right. Thanks.

I know Allsport sends the cranks out. They do not do the work themselves. I would contact Dan at Indy specialties. my .02

What do you think caused this to happen?
I've been hearing all sorts of crank problem stories in the past two weeks from Polaris people.

Allsport is a big friggen joke, to make a long story short allsport cost me about a grand and had to send it to indy Dan to have it done right. I say indy Dan all the way.

Thanks guys, Indy Dan it will be, this sled has 4000 miles on it and the crank went last spring, its ben a great sled and he does ride very hard, from what we have been hearing its sounds like the cranks pins are twisting off on the pto side, I think my buddy may have been lucky to get 4000 miles out of his, The wider bearing is supposed to do the trick, I had a 2002 800 rmk and never had a problem, although I sold it in 03.
