Perfect time for a project snowmobile! This deal will get you into a great running 800 with just a little bit of work on your part. The sled has a 144" track on it and has roughly 2700 miles on her.
Currently the snomobile is torn down since it lost it's crank at the end of the last season. We were going to rebuild it and keep it but I just have too many projects on my plate right now! The cassis is in fairly good shape, minus a tear in the seat and some slightly worn ski mounting brakets. You could buy this chassis for parts or to build a mod sled with. This is the chassis famous for supporting the 1200 motors!
The only thing that needs to be replaced to get this motor running is the crank (the case looks fine) and one of the pistons and cylinders. You might even be able to work out the scratches on the cylinder, or if you wanted to do a big bore you wouldn't even need to worry about it!
Over the next few months I will probably start picking this project up, just because it's sitting in the shop, so if you want it in pieces to save yourself some money now is the time to act. Otherwise, as I work on it the price will go up.
