WOW! not bad for the first week of April
grab the wife. mine and jerrys are riding where you and David helped jerry and his turbo dragon out of the doo ditch.
i got an extra sled for me to ride.

You can really see how deep and light the snow was. I was expecting it to be heavy by 11 but it stayed decent till around 1 in the afternoon. One of the best rides of the season on April 6th!! Unbelievable.

I've noticed if you put it on spot metering when the sun is out, it's way better.double overhood man!

lots of the video i got is totally washed out.. I went from praising the GoPro to hating it.. when the sun comes out the video just washes out.. bummer..

Jumping into the powder
Went up on Saturday April 10th. The snow was fine up top but the ride up and down bordered on rediculous. I now appreciate how valuable the grooming service is.
I enjoyed the hill climbs.
Watched a couple guys build a jump ramp on top of a hill. It looked much steeper than the video shows.
I have another video of his friend who jumps about 60 feet but ends up flipping over the bars on the landing.
If you run out of natural challenges build your own!

Nice......we build a kicker closer to the tree. I haven't been to GC since the new snow, but here's a shot of it from last year..

When closer to the tree, you get a steeper landing transition. We pretty much maxed out that jump and will be looking for bigger spots...Runout become a problem around GC....too many trees at the bottoms....
Looks good! Run out is a big issue at GC, we have a few other spots we have jumped/are planning on jumping, but its limited. I wish Matt had taken video of the Cornice I launched. I had the sled pegged WTFO when I hit it going uphill haha

I'm thinking up the next level and over towards the tower 50yards, but same area. We should plan an "air session".....
I'm game to meet up. I probably won't be able to make it out for at least 3 weeks though...I maybe done with the season
