Anyone have experience running a 2.6 powerclaw on a pro? Lot of posts asking but not many reviews. I ride idaho/utah. So lighter powder most the time. I know i need drivers and antistab as well

I run one but haven't had it in deep snow yet. I ran the 2.25PC last year and with the little snow I have tested the 2.6 is much better.

Looking at doing the same mod. Just ordered up some 7 tooth avid drivers and my cat dealer has a bunch of 2.6 pc tracks that are Brand new lots of 3" tracks installed this season

i had it on my cat, it is far superior IMO to the 5.1 on my pro. seemed much more controlled, actually had some braking coming down hill.

it was also much better than the PC 2.25

where did you get your drivers?

I run that set up use avid drivers just called them and told them what year drive shaft and what track I wanted to run and they told me what I needed and I used a whale Antistab kit

what durometer works on the pro? also the 153 fits on the 155 rails right?

Both duros fit, just stiff or medium. Your choice based on the snow you typically ride.

And yes, they fit directly on the 155 rails with 7 tooth wheels. I did not change anything except the drivers and mod the chaincase to clear the smaller diameter drivers/track.

the only experience i have with the 2.6 is riding with a guy that has one on an M8. the only advice i can tell you.......is advice to tell your riding partners. STAY BACK 1000 FEET ON THE TRAILS. that frickin track throws chunks the size of golf balls a LONG ways.

The 80 is already very stiff the 85 and I think your pro will lose that pop up on top flotation I've been enjoying since it turned my modded m7 into a spare sled. It has the 2.6 I put on two seasons ago tempted to try it but it just works too good the way it is.where the claw shines is packed and spring snow the but in the light stuff im not sure it would be better. Stock 2014 pro 163 and ported m7 162 with timberled suspension and tunnel

I have the 162" 2.6" 80 dur track on a 15 pro, have about 450 miles on it. In snow with any hock up at all it will walk past a stock 5.1. Have ran with 3" tracks also, so far for stock pro I'll keep my 2.6. I'm pulling 64 grams with it up to 7500', buds 3" 60 to 62 grams. Hopefully will see some 3 to 4' powder soon and find out how it measures up to the 3" then. I get more track speed with it and run way cooler on hard trails getting to powder, maybe 15 degrees more than stock, but 40 degrees plus less than buds with 3". So far its a keeper.
