Hopefully this storm dumps mainly in the mountains and the weather warms up enough to dry things out by next weekend. It takes alot of effort by many people to put one of these events on and don't need something like this to screw it up especially on their first year, Ken.
I really hope that track does dry out before next weekend. I would really like to see that Yamaha on the track against ME!! With chisels. What does that Yamaha run in 500 feet?

I am not sure what Tom runs on his open mod as far as times, but I think it is in the 5's. I know that in the speed run at West last year he ran 81.6 mph on the snow in 500 feet on his 600 open sled (the one in the picture).
We had a grass drag their about 15 years ago, alot of fun. This isn't the first for the polaris shop along the I-90. But good for them. Short track and a short shut down area, but fun.
since its a benifit, I will kick the spiders out on an old one.
racingpit - Yes, the laydown sleds will be allowed to run in the outlaw class only. I-OWN-U - If the snowcross polaris has an 800 in it, it will probably qualify for the mod class just because of the chassis mod. Burndown1 - This race has nothing to do with polaris and is not in the same place polaris used to have theirs. This is a brand new track. It is a 500 foot race with over 500 feet of shutdown. Hope this answers some questions. Hey Jerrod- don't know how much we need at this point. We've got a bunch, but I don't know if we have enough. I'll let you know.

Well i think Joe covered it nice work Brother!!! But yes we got the word yesterday that we will allow traction devices in the OPEN Class Being that the lay down type sleds are usually built with devices on the track to insure traction!! We want some of you lay down sleds to make this event rock!!!! lol cant wait to see everyone already getting excited!!! Got about an inch of snow here this morning so it should settle the track nicely!! now pray for some dry weather to make it sticky!!! anymore ? let us know!! oh and on the snow fence if anyone in billings has some we would really appreciate it!!! It sounds like Kekich and I will be racing there this coming weekend. Tom doesn't have his open mod 600 ready to race, so it doesn't sound like he will be bringing it. Tom will bring his bigger open mod though...should be fun to watch. Anyone know Dave Larouche (spelling) from Billings? Let him know about the race, he had an open mod a few years ago.
