1998 Kitty Kat ?s

Bought my boy a 1998 Kitty Kat for Christmas. It starts and idles fine but about 10 seconds after you give it full gas it bogs out and dies. I have cleaned the carb and checked other things but cant get it to run right. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks Glen

Take the carb off and really clean it good. If you have access to a sonic cleaner they work great for this. Loosen up the track a much as you can. The rolling resistance is terrible on those things and could just be loading it up too much.
