I am looking at my first pro. It is a 2011 Rro RMK. The guy I am buying from is a 163. I have never ridden longer a 153.. Worried about it being too long. Ride in Idaho and Utah 6 to 10K feet in the trees. Any help would be appreciated. I have several in my group that all ride the 155 Pro.

Any help ywould be great ..

the pro is extremely nimble, which makes the 163 handle better then most all the other shorter sleds out there..at 5-7 and a buck 60, I have no issues making a 163go everywhere I want..the extra track is a big benifit in the tight deep stuff as well.....

I am 5'8 and 160 lbs. I have ridden both. My sled is the 155 but the 163 doesn't really feel much different to me when riding it. You can't go wrong with the 163. Don't need it most of the time but it is nice when really deep or if you are 200 lbs or more. If I was a bigger guy, I would have gotten the 163.

It's like horsepower....if you have the ability to go with the longer track machine do it.
As stated above...you won't notice the difference in handling in the tree's but if it's deep...that you will notice because the 155 will not go where the 163 will.
You will not regret the longer track on that sled.

I can go everywhere a 163 goes on my 155...The only place where i can tell a difference is when high marking, and when your side hilling....but other then that i will go everywhere a 163 goes.
