16 wide.

Pictures of the stock bulkhead would be appropriate, not a stock m8 for sure.......and I didn't say I put a 16" on a dragon, put one on a polaris sled. Is the dragon a narrower bulkhead?
The tunnels are pretty slim on the Dragons also, more so than the edge chassis and what not. Sweet sled AND powder coating. Iv got nothing bad to say about it

LHF never said it was a stock M. I give him props for suckering you guys in. And going to the trouble of building an M that would fit a 16 wide. And for those people thinking that going from 15 to 16 is no big deal it made my edge chassis a whole new animal. Probably the biggist dissapoinment in me buying an M was knowing I couldn't go to a 16 wide.
LHF lets see some bulkhead pictures

It always seems that the 15 to 16" wide debate always varys. Some say it works awesome, some say it takes away from the nimble feel of the sled. To each their own.
16" wide in a custom tunnel and associated parts to make it work, sounds pricey to me...

Who wants stock? Stock sucks.

Of coarse as we all know, for the right amount of dollars....anything can be done in this sport. When you make major modifications to a sled it takes on a whole different character and realistically should no longer be called the model name that it started from. Example: a cat engine in a polaris = polcat.

I personally still contend that you do not have a 16" wide track in an m8 but more like a 16" wide track in a custom m.

No different than how cars have to be listed at Barrett Jackson in order to be auctioned, replica, reproduction, mod build, restoration or authentic. Anything else is just playing games like children do. LHF, it is no wonder people don't believe you with the games you play.

Ever hear the story of the boy who cried wolf?

Still would like pictures of the bulkhead on that sled. Nice sled BTW, whoever's it is.

The only reason an XP works half assed is because it has a 16 wide. Put a 15 wide on it and even the Yamahas would spank it.

another brilliant post by the self appointed "god of all things snowmachine"
I know you just talk crap like that to stir the pot, but I'm curious, do you have anything to base that claim on?
