Passing on what I heard about 16' pro.....408# with 160 hp
2.7 track
no more bonded a-arms
cast alum upper a-arms (like burandts hillcross sled)
lower geared quick drive
3" narrower body work
other changes..........

Maybe this is old news but, I'm not on here a bunch so I apologize in advance...........If its not........well your welcome

I'll bet a Steak dinner that there will be a sub 400 pound RMK version out.

I suspect there will be a choice of tracks on snowcheck models only. Not just length but also lug size.

I hope there is a pro'd out standard rmk like 2015 snow check, or better cooling on the assault with track options and lengths.

Assault is a spring snow sled, needs the extra cooling.

Love my 14 pro but i would have checked a "all optioned 163 standard rmk" like alot of guys did in 15 and will be looking to check one in 17.

I think like the highlifter version 1000 rzr there should be a carls cycle center edition with factory mods.

I'm Hoping thats what the survey was all about.

It'll be absolute perfection. Lotsa strength added so now you can trade it in every year instead of every second year. Great. Just great.

I would be very happy with what the OP said. Sounds like a stronger front end, lighter chassis, larger lugs, more hp and lower gearing. What's not to like about that??

Oh boy. If that's correct, YUMMY!!!!!

hope they come with skidoo oil cap.

Then,,, what would we have to worry about Snowmobiler ?!

Off topic a bit,, I got to put some time on one of those fancied up '15 snowchecks this weekend.

Nice. Hope they keep that option for '16.

I doubt it. I believe that was a promotion to get people to order a 2015. The 2016 will be new. At least that is rumor.

I hope that they leak more information soon. I rode a Ski Doo for the first time last weekend. It may be heavier but it rides lighter. I was very impressed. I need to know what is coming out soon or I may pull the trigger on a Ski Doo T3. I can't believe that I am saying that since I have been riding Polaris sleds my whole career but it is an impressive piece of equipment. Great linear power, easy handling, good sidehilling characteristics. I need someone to show me why I want a 16 Polaris Pro now.

i wonder if there is going to be three options

rmk
cheapo rmk version 2.4" lugs

pro axys rmk

loaded rmk with light weight parts and 2.4" lugs

terrain dominator

fully loaded rmk, evo shocks, 2.7" lugs, longer than 163 option.

I highly doubt it. Producing 4 different packages just for the mountain segment? Cost of production would be ridiculous

I think those would be awesome upgrades. I think a more flexible track than the X3 3" .....and somewhere in that 2.5 - 2.75 lug length - might be the perfect track.

Maybe it's about time they differentiate the mountain segment more.
Mountain trails vs OFF TRAIL!!
