I am looking for some opinions on what track to run on my pro. its currently had a 155x2.5 CE with 8 tooth extravert drivers. I am running a timbersled rear skid. which is gonna give me the best deep snow performance and track speed the 163 pro track or the 155CE??? the reason i asking about the 163 is i found a good deal on a track and rails. the sled will be running a 660carls cycle. I already went the x3 route and that wasnt for me. thanks for any advice.

Did u have any 155 stock sleds to compare too? What didn't u like about the 2.5 and 3 CE? Thought about a 3" is why I ask.

I think the difference between the 2.5 155 and stock 163 track would be negligible. Not worth the effort to change one for another.

155 2.5 going to be a little more fun in set-up snow, 163 going to be a little better in blower pow. Splitting hairs tho - I'd just leave it alone

personally id stick with your 155. my dad had a 13 163 and we sold it to get him a 155.. 163 takes some of the fun out of it IMO

Honestly it depends on how you ride, the snow you ride in and you yourself. If your a bigger guy 163, if its deep snow all the time 163, if you like to ride aggressive and whip the sled around 155. I had friends that went thru the shorter track phase because they thought it was more fun. Most are riding the longer tracks now. The shorter tracks like to dig too much in the deeper snow. BRP can say all they want about there 174 only being like 3" longer on the snow then there 162 but unless your a chute slayer the 174 is just tooo big. I like the 163. will see whats better a 162 2.5 or 156 3". Would have went 163 3" if I still had boost.
But honestly its a tough choice. If you make the switch should be easy to sell the 155 tho.
