153 or 162 track on Nytro

I can't decide if I should leave the Nytro a 153 or extend it to a 162. I do like to climb hills and play in the trees boondocking. Does that difference in the track make it alot harder in the tree's. I will have a turbo on it as well.

Thanks
RON

just depends on your snow conditions. if you have lots of pow and if you climb a fair bit, without a doubt you'll need to go longer. If you don't have these conditions, I think a 153 would be ok if you didnt' want to spend the coin.

Ask TBone....he has one on a nearly stock (non turbo) and seems to really like it.
T bone buddy........glad you could make it to Yamafest!!

Even if you're staying stock I would get a camo extreme 15" x 156 and put big wheel kit on...stock track folds over way to easy:D

go for the bigger one

went from a 144 summit (stinky ) to a yam 162... the only difference to me was that the thing climbs better and its a little more effort to turn it side ti side... you really should try one... we want this and that,,, but its really what you like... thats why we are all different and have different sleds... and even if they are the same.. you have this ... i have that.... etc... you are the one that must decide... more work to get up the hill ... or more work to do powder turns... i think with the turbo you will have the track turning fast enough to stay with the shorter track....but put a tamer on it and you will feel the track grab instead of the power sink into the *** end when it gos down from the power....remember... its you and not me or anyone else who can tell you what works for you,,,,

I've pretty well decided on the 156 2.5 extreme for mine, turbo or not. The only question I have left is 15 or 16. I really like the manouverability of the 15 but I'd like a little more floatation and traction for sure. I guess if the 15 was enough of a difference then I'd go for it but right now I'm leaning towards the 16.

MCX Nytro, how does the 2.5 156 handle as far as wheeleing issues. Did you find that it still wants to come over on the steep like the 153 maverick? Wandering if the extra length of the 162 would benifit. Why is no one putting on a 174?

track

i have a 162 on mine and with the turbo it does want to come up pretty high climbing but all you have to do is learn to work the throttle.
