136" track and 488cc liq, not so good in the deep..help?

thank you, now thats why i posted to begin with.
any tips on dropping the mounts?

you say most 19 year olds don't own there own sleds? i have 2003 700rmk turbo, 96xltrmk with some fun mods, and a turbo apex, just work and save smarter idea :) oh and i just turned 20

if your making payments why dont you just go to the bank and get little more money and buy a newer sled? just so you know the motor mount kits help with the motor moving which moves the cluthes out of alignment and causes belt issues and crank issues, you have that done on this sled which helps that but if you have just a stock crank it could still fail, we just lost a crank on a 04 800 with all the motor mount straps and push arms. first thing i would do if i were you would be send your clutch in to get balanced for $25 it's alot cheaper then a crank, and after that i would not spend anymore money on that sled just because you would be wasting it. good luck on your new adventure

blackout94..... Don't let these guys p!ss in your wheaties too much. As far asyour current sled goes, I had a 121 version of that a while back and never could get it to do anything but plow snow, limiters up, down, susp mounted all over the place, less ski pressure, more ski pressure, you get the idea. Had a 98 ZRT and ZR that would go like he!! in the powder compared to the old wedge chassis.
Regarding your soon to be new sled, having the motor mount push arms, pull arms, etc I think really helps. Yeah, some (alot) apparently have bad cases and the waller out pretty quick and f... up the crank. Mine's got 3k mi on it now, same setup as your bro's and runs well. If the sled is in good shape, which only you know, then $2500 is not a bad deal, especially w/ the payment plan.
Set up right, I really enjoy riding my 01. I'm still debating whether to upgrade or ride it another year. And for the rest of you guys that have to analyze everyone's financial situation, I'm no kid and I could go pay cash for 6 Tapex'es tomorrow. It's all about how much you have or can afford or wish to spend.;)

BTW: DOes your bro have the stock seat for that 01 still? I saw the Boss seat in the pic. I need a new seat and I'm too cheap to buy a Boss seat!:D
