It will only outclimb a 860 if the 860 isnt running on the pipe. I have seen those jugs and they are impressive. (giggle, giggle, giggle)

I am sure i wont run with an 860. Do you know if Dale is selling a boost friendly version ? Or is there just one so far ?

first test will be for piped version then on to boost. hoping that the boosted 1300 will be at Fairview

Heard this beast was running in the shop last night and will be on the snow today.

First trip out on it today. Put on its first 50 miles trouble free. 1300 turbo will be at fairview.

They couldn't get the 1200 to hold together so they went up to a 1300 eh?? Should be reliable....

I believe the main problem with the 1200 is that it uses the stock cylinders. Making the cylinder walls extremely thin, same issue a local shop had with 800 BB's to their 700's. The use of new cylinders built for the 1300 avoids that issue. Reliability should not be a concern in terms of why the 1200's have issues. Someone correct me if I am wrong. I haven't had a chance to talk to dale about the 1300. We end up talking about his turbo's all too frequently instead.

i was there the day they un wrapped those big suckers and dale said he would guess around 3500. I can understand the substantial increase in price over a 1200 kit since this one includes new cylinders.
