1300 Cutler Is for real

Any word on this motor, how did it do on snow in testing or is there a reason all the threads ended in March. I would have thought this would of kept going for a while. Cool if it worked and I would be very interested as this thing at 5-7 lbs on pump would probably be a 350+ HP monster. c'mon let's get this one going again.

Little birdy got any more info like when available and hP #s at what boost. Just curious.

birdy

i was told theres only one out on the snow and they tested lots last season oil galley and reliefs at all 4 corners of pistons.2999 for top end needs twins for 240 trying to get 250 and you can run it with a single forget the hp on that

Someone claimed it was tested on boost. Any word on that?

I am thinking of coming... If the CPC 1300 was not on boost, I would be there for sure.. it would be good to see the , freshly out of the foundry, 1300cc power plant.. The cylinder design is better than the OEM Cat but I suspect finding a set of pipes (N/A) will be the challenge.. With a turbo, the pipe is less of a player but is still a factor....

Looks like a nice cylinder.. and on boost, it should make some big power, no doubt...

What makes it better than the OEM cylinder?

It's nice to see a custom cylinder, I haven't heard anything good about the 1200 kits based on stock cylinders. Any news on this new top end? I don't see anything on the CPC web site.

Anybody put boost to the old Cutler 1000 motors? They had his custom cylinders too. That motor has been out for awhile.
Just curious.

Just started m 1300 install

Just seeing if any one has rode at sea level to 4000 feet? and what numbers on a boondocker they have run.

Tony snow has one, check the carbed turbo thread, theres a few pics and his ride reports on there too.

I was at cutler's a couple weeks ago and he said he's sold about 15 of the 1300 kits. $3000 for head, cylinders, and pistons. Something just went to the top of my christmas list....

There are only a couple of Dragon 1000 Cutlers with a turbo and a kid in our group has one. Works alright but a good running 09 m8 turbo (his Dads sled) will beat it every time. Currently they are locating a stock M7 motor to replace it with and the 1000 motor will be for sale. That engine was not designed to be a turbo. Dale will tell you that himself.

Like Gus said on here, tonysnoo has a turboed dragoncat motor, and he said it runs very well. I've talked to him a lot on here about it, because for a long time I was interested in doing the same, but I've got other plans now for the future...

Thanks Mjunkie, my little 1000 does really do well, but I can't imagine what the T1300 is with those jugs is going to be like...wow. Hey spoon, any idea what he wants for the motor parts? Sorry to hijack the thread:face-icon-small-blu
