121" ST to Snowhawk 136" Track Conversion

My riding buddy just cut his 2013 MH track on a KTM530 and is real happy with it. Works well on the 2" track just left the center paddle as is.
The 2013 MH track also has the short fibreglass rods so it rolls real nice once cut it has additional flex build right in.

Another issue I have found with the older 136 x 2" and 1.75" tracks is that the center paddle was every third not every other. So if you taper the outside lugs you will not have much for paddles left at all?

Thanks for the info does he ride colorado dry snow by chance?the 12 kit is using a 2.86 ,track so a little more spacing ,I think that is good as it wont chain saw, but would be nice to have a 2.5 cut rounded!come to think of it would be better to have a 3 to cut round, then I think it wouldnt effect the deep powder performance at all, which is really what Im after any way!

Still hate the trail ride back out of about 15 miles of hairy riding when really tired and not reacting as fast as I should to stay on the trail. Cut the outside lugs on the ST 121 to see if it handles better I will let you know how it responds soon.
