12/6 Riding pics

Aren't them willows supposed to be covered up by now??? s

Nice pic's
Colorado has been fortunate to recive the snow most are drooling over for sure

If those get covered up, we will be having an epic year! Looks like 3-4 foot base, needs a 2 foot dumper on Friday then we should be good to go most places. Some of my tree riding spots need another 4 feet to be "safe" but it is the earliest start we have had in many years, a solid month earlier than last season.

Where were these pictures taken?
Around Owl Creek Pass, judging by the pictures.

How much snow did you guys get from that storm this weekend? We didn't get squat down here. I went to Silverton on Friday night and there still isn't anything on Molas to speak of.

I went and rode above Lemon Reservoir on Saturday and it was downright scary until I got up to the top, and even then there was only about 24-30" of snow.

I will be coming to CO often if we don't start getting some of this stuff! Still dry as a bone here in Utah! :scared:

It snowed Fri night and most of Saturday up on the mtn. We picked up about 6" in that storm. Just enough fluff on the trail that I didn't need scratchers.

12/22 Sick and rediculous...

It was dumping all day, 4-5 inches by the time we rode out had covered the tracks in. There was a ton of fresh. Game on after this storm boys, it is going to be sweet!

Do you stage at the overlook on Owl creek pass rd? If so, we rode Monday over to the West Fork scouting for the snow bikes. Even did a few rock step offs with the old rock sleds. Should be pretty good after this storm! Thank for the pics

Yes, Vista Point on the Ridgway side. It needs to set up just a little and I think we are going to be good in the trees most places. It definitely got deeper as we went up. Never even crossed the creek yesterday. Maybe today....

The tree area below chimney rock looks to be great for a snowbike. That whole area looks crazy fun. Keep an eye out for two Honda snow bikes. I hope this snow will make the road ride in, a little safer to play on. Keep the pics coming!

The road is going to be interesting now. There was another foot from yesterday on our ride in. It was fresh tracks in a white out on the ride out. It is deep and drifted in places on the road. We spent most of the day stuck. Found a newbie alone in the parking lot, took him under our wing for the day. It was just a stuck fest, even for the 174 T3 doo.

It really needs to set up. I can get around pretty well but there is so much new, getting bad stuck all day is just how it goes for now...

No pics today, too dang tired from two days of shoveling

Hopefully it's a little more setup on Monday than it is now, heading to Walden from MN on Sunday! :)
