1100t Suspension Mounting Points????

So I was sitting in the garage today and staring at my sled. It has two holes in the front of the tunnel for mounting the front arm. It came with it mounted in the front hole location. The other hole is about a inch back.
The rear mount has two holes to. It is mounted in the top hole. THe bottom hole is about a inch down and maybe a 1/4" back.

Without trying anything I am wondering why these holes are there. Not so much the rear mounts but the front mounts? I was looking at it thinking maybe that the front arm could come back to the back mounting hole if I put the back arm in the lower mount hole.

I have the 2012 race and service manual and it doesn't reference anything about the different holes.

Any ideas?

Extra Holes

On The Polaris The Assults And Switchbacks Used One Hole And The RMK Used The Other Perhaps The Cats Are The Same One Hole For Shorter Tracks And One For Longer. Don't Know For Sure Though
