What kind of power do you guys think the after market is going to get out of a twin compared to to the triples or quads. I think anything over the 240 - 260 hp you will have reliability issues with a the twin. What do you think!!!!!!!!!

Thanks

a good bud has 298hp with stock turbo bigger inter cooler shim waste gate few other mods under 1200 bucks been running 660ft 2yrs and trail riding no issues over 1000mi.

This motor has been around for three or so years.. There is suppose to be some performance gains to be had. Generally hearing safe boost produces like was said 240..

..
What people aren't telling you is ..

When you do this simple mod of the speedwerx cranking up the power to the 230 -240 range..

You also have to change the head Bolts and Head Gaskets!!!!!

Just a FYI

No you actually dont, it is a true bolt on kit without having to do head studs(bolts) or gaskets.

If you want to run over the 290hp then you will have to upgrade the head studs and gaskets.

There are two guys around here that have the Z1 turbo and they have the speedwerx ecm and wastegate mod and have never once blown a head gasket and they run them all day long at 240hp and then when they want to lake race they crank them up to 290.

Speedwerx does recommend running their heavy duty gasket and head stud kit but from seeing in person you do not need to run one.

It is good insurance to run the heavy duty gasket and head studs because I for one would not want to get towed out because of it.
