11 series weights

Currently my sled has 10-66 for 2-4000ft but was thinking about trying the 11series but saw in the Polaris service manual is says to use 1-2gr less than stock. So i checked Wahl's Racing and they say the opposite, add 1-2gr above stock..Is there big difference between the 10 and 11's in performance, would a guy notice a difference or should i just run the 66's
i do ride the mtns as well but will go back to the 10-62's

You would have to re shim your clutch to run the 11s, and I'm pretty sure you would need to run 2 grams heavier with the 11s.

screw that then i guess i'll be staying with the 10-66's,dont wanna always shim and unshim.

Oh crap, I did it wrong last season. :face-icon-small-hap I just bolted them in and they fixed my tad too loose belt to sheave clearance and raised my engagement and still hit my rpm. (If you already have less than .020" clearance, it may be necessary to re-shim) You can run 2 grams heavier if you want but 11-66's will probably work fine.
