09' Summit X 146 Black is at the dealer in Oly.

New sled is here. They called today to let me know. Have to pick it up by 10-31. Now the question is do a just trade my 07 XRS 151 in for 6K or try and sell it at the snow show. I would need to get $6500 for it to equal the difference in tax savings trading it in. My guess is it is worth between 6500 and 7000. This sled was dialed in all year and I hate to see it go. It was the sled to beat on good percentage of hills last year. I hope they actually fixed all of last years XP issues. I would say mine would be an early build since it is here already. Anyone else get there 146 yet? Is there updatres that still might need to get done on an early sled. seasonis getting close better start orrdering parts. Now whos clutching to use. I rode a few sleds that had DJ's kit and I loved the snappy low end. You could lift your ski's at will and was fun for jumping and boon docking. Mine has Turbo AL's set up and it does not hit as hard down low but rips in the mid range much harder. They hit like totally different sleds. The funny thing is in a side by side drag race they end about exactly the same. The DJ cluthced sled ussually will get a sled or so jump but the Turbo AL clutched sled will catch it in 100 yrds and maybe pull but a 1/2 sled and then they will stay side by side. I think TA's pulled more track speed on the hill and climbed better. Seemed to hold the speed better too. Guess I answered my own question. Turbro AL for thanksgiving againit is.
A combination of the two would be the ultimate. Seems like we just scraped the last sled chucks off the hill from the July ride and the season is all most here again. Snow level was 6500 ft yesterday and it felt and looked like winter here. Time to dial in another sled. Hope it can be done sooner then later. Revy is always a good place to start and Turbo AL knows what works in the hills. His statemnet regarding how he can't understand why Doo moved the way they did regarding 09 clutching in the XP's has me a bit nervous. They again every sled I owned except my 02 Summit 800 X needed clutching and other modifications out of the box. Then again that 02' was purchased in Revy and set up by Turbo Al. Better exchange rates back then. Sled went from the shop to Turbo Hill for the break in ride. Then a couple dozen pulls:).
Let the snow fly.

Mines been sitting on my shop floor for a week now just havent wanted to start cutting it up its so nice looking lol
I want to ride it see how the clutching is and if its way out of wack take it to turbo al and get it tuned right up also going to gear mine down and lean out the jets a little

Thanks ISH,

That was exactly the info I was looking for. I ride an 07 REV 151, and I do lots of "trialsy" stop and go hop and slam kind of riding, and I can't stand the mushy engagement my sled has. Lot's of power, sure gets up the hills, but I have to get way into the throttle to get the nose up... no snap.

I've been trying to decide whether to buy joes kit or make the trip to revelstoke to get turboal-ed. Your post is making me think joes kit is what I'm looking for, snappy bottom end, then maybe hit turbo al's later in the season.

Think I'm on the right track?

sorry for the crappy pics a couple lights died in the shop

hum priorities

I like the pic of your sled next to the couch. That about sums up the life of a married man. First Dating, next getting hitched, then giving her ownership of everything you have then, finally, escape to the garage for comfort.

Just got my new 09 XP 154 from Roundy's in Spokane at 5 pm last night. It has some nice improvements over my 07 XRS. Compliments to Ski-doo.

CAT riders, sit back and drool..........:beer;

Im pretty pumped on the 146. i ordered another set of black panels to put my vents in and maybe some custom decals
