I ordered my 09 154X "SMURF EDITION" Saturday and wondering what to have ready when it show up. Vent kit,can,etc. Is this the same as an 08? can i buy the same stuff and it will fit? Also wondering if anyone can photoshop it to all white panels, the whole sled white. Thinking about doing this and not smart enough to photoshop. Let me know what you guys think on accessories. And hope someone can photoshop in here. Later Guys.

You would regret white.
If you want to spend more time cleaning your sled, than riding... Get White.
I had a 2000 summit with a yellow tub, and man was that a bioch to keep looking clean,,, I would imagine what white is like.

Congrats! I love my 08.
Here's the list on mine. HPS can, vent kit, handlebar riser bag, gas can(for those long, deep powder days), lots of oil(I have gone through 4 gallons in 750 miles), Quick Clickers(whitefish on forums is great to work with), skid plate, Goldfinger Lefty.

Didn't see an answer to the 08 vs. 09 mods fitting. Kinda wondering myself. I'm walking a fine line on a snow check. Just can't decide on track length. 154 vs. 163???????? Wish I could hit the middle with a 159" then I'd be on it like flys on POO.

To help your decison I just rode a 163 and I couldnt notice much of a difference from my 07 159 in handling.

Yeah i don't know if white would be bad or not. I would paint it with automotive paint and clear it which should clean way easier than the color injected plastics like are factory. But i'm not sure i guess. As far as the 08 vs 09, still hoping someone knows what works there or doesn't. I just think white would be trick. I would have my wife do it up in decals of course.

The 09' sleds I saw in Spokane last weekend didn't have smooth panels. Same as 08' just black or blue.
to get true performance out of an xp you gotta add a tunnel bag the word on the street is you get 5 more mph track speed....
when i ordered my 09. my dealer said x models would have smooth panel. I kind of question that when he told me but we will see what it ends up being. anyone else heard any thing about it?

I never asked, i just went for black for ease of cleaning, my old man used to have a 00 highmark, that yellow was just never the same after one season, white and lite blue would be no better im betting! on that note this will be my first REV... cant wait for next winter!

The blue/white looks good though, thats for sure. Saw a guy with white painted side panels and white hood on an 08, looked great.

Have a Dragon 800 waiting there when your XP is broken down like mine! I threw a rod thru the block in mine 2weeks ago. Skidoo has engines on back order until may 1st. What does that tell you about there customer service and reliability. All we did all winter long is work on these damn xp's. I am a little frustrated hopefully this doesnt take away your excitement on your new sled.

One bag for belts and tow rope and a second bag for cash to pay the Dragon owner who towed you to safety. ooops!!! Was I just thinking that or did I really type it. Oh my god I'm on Ski Doo Forum.
