Your changing to much, with that Kmod under it your not going to know what to do with yourself. lol
 
I'll be doing it one day at a time. Doing it all at once won't show the specific gains or losses. The Kmod being the first test.

Is there snow over there yet?
 
What elevation do you ride at Tony? And what boost pressure are you running at? I'm running at 9-10psi right now but I am going to creep my way up to 12-14 this season.

I ran 12ish with the 11 pipe most of the season at 7-10Kft. Running 11psi at last of the season with the 08 pipe at 9500ft.... 55/65 gears fat DD magnetic weights 87grams....... stock gearing required lots more magnets/
 
im running a 2010 pipe on a 08 m8 OVS tial kit with DD ajustables.ive had good luck with them im spinning around 8150 and i was told to take it up to 8400 rpm i think im gonna turn the boost up to 14.now its at 11 on AV gas but after reading this im thinking i need to put the 08 pipe on it let me know what u think of the 09 pipe verus the 10 pipe

How much av gas, you may be way over octane, I was running near 11lbs with 2 gal of av at 9-10000ft.
 
Good reading so far everyone what do most of you run for fuel as far as mix of race gas to premium, and what octane do u mix with?
 
Depends on who's turbo kit along with what was used in the kit. Lots of factors to deal with and the biggest one is it has to be tuned right. There is another thread call "detonation limits" that talks about it.
 
Also keep in mind that's a race dept ECU... that is not apples to apples with other sleds of even the exact same kit. Race dept ECU's won't use the same numbers, fuel... It's just something to keep in mind as you try to get comparisons. It always used WAY less octane than others like it... but I'd obviously start higher to be safe till you get to know it better.

The day we got det finally on that sled was 10.75-11 psi on a warm spring day on 91, on a 900 ft steep chute at 10k feet, second consecutive pull with me filming in the chute, so she was in a hurry to go back up. Same day, I was running 3 gallons 116 in my 2011 to get 13psi & I saw code 21 at the top of the chute when I backed out of the throttle once.

The timing is obviously not stock, that was the only time we pushed it, and it was the only time we ever saw det.
