09 700CFI head choice

Guys I am trying to decide what to do here. I have an 09 with can and slp intake and I am going to do a head this year.

I know slp has one and Bikeman I think.

I ride 8000 to 12000+ so I need all the power my lil 700 can give.

Thanks in advance.

Carl's Cycle also offers a head mod for the 800 and I'm pretty sure they offer it for the 700 and it's much cheaper than a full set of heads. Then Brad Wursten sp?? (1200PSI) on here makes heads for them and they are available directly from him or through Fastrax.

If you plan on putting a turbo on it at any time down the road I would suggest Brad's heads as he offers a dome with lower compression for turbos that you could swap out if you go that route. Otherwise I know Tim's (thebigtreeman) 700 with the Bikeman head seems to run well. Lots of choices but if it were me I'd do Brad's for the flexability if you even decide to turbo it and if that's out of the question I'd talk to Carl's and save some $$ if they do the mod for the 700 too.

I would go with the Power Addiction head through either Brad or Curt @Fastrax.
The Chamber design is better and has proven very successful on the snow the last couple of years. The maching work is top notch as is the customer service. If you are looking for the best performance, then this is it.

I went to the Fastrax website and they look like the ticket. Are thy on here? Whats his user name?

+3 for 1200psi.

his chamber design is supposed to be much more efficient; allowing more power off the bottom with a lower comp for turbo. plus he's a great guy to deal with.

A friend of mine runs a Bikeman head on his 08 700 rmk, at about 1000-2500 feet. And he says he couldn't feel and difference after he put it on, other than he has more compression. That he notices when starting it he says. His lack on gains might come from the low elevation, or the fact that his motor is stock besides the head.
