Figured McCall area needed snow report/b.s. thread as well.

To keep everyone who does not live close informed on conditions, news, gathering to ride, and to b.s.

I will start by saying I saw snow today!

Getting a little lonely Phil? haha I saw snow on the Brundage Mtn web cams the other day.

our friends at the weather bureau

The latest forecast for Saturday night is the "possibility" of "heavy snow" in the west central mountains. "Heavy snow" means they don't know but could be up to 12" in 24 hrs. Or it could be rain. But it looks like we might be able to get out for a first ride very SOOOOON. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.

No problem going to try and do one for mccall, IP, north Idaho Conditions and prob one for preston/bear lake seems to be the main areas people from out of the region ask about

snow is coming

The weather men are guessing that we have something good going to happen.
in the mountains around McCall above 7000 feet, then dropping to 5500 feet:

"Today: Snow showers, mainly after noon. High near 41. Calm wind becoming west southwest between 13 and 16 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. Total daytime snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Tonight: Rain. Low around 28. North northwest wind between 8 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.

Sunday: Snow. High near 37. Southeast wind 8 to 13 mph becoming north. Winds could gust as high as 22 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Sunday Night: Snow showers, mainly before midnight. Low around 22. North northeast wind between 10 and 13 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%."

Will have to get the machines out and warmed up. Damn, someone has to do it, you know, make sure the weather men are right. GRIN.:face-icon-small-hap
