08m8 problem

I have an 08 M8 snopro and just installed a new power claw track and cleaned the power valves. Now for the problem 1 time yesterday and twice today after a long pull and I let out of the throtle and hit the throtle again it bogs. Thanks for any ideas. I am going to check the power valve cables but do not see how this could be the problem.

This happens to mine every time i'm coming down hill. If you give it some gas instead of letting the motor wind all the way down it helps at the bottom when you're ready to take off again..

Did you make sure to put your valves back in the same way they came out. (Correct side up)? Did you make any clutch spring adjustments or changes while you had the track off? My buddy had too much spring tension on his M1k and it would back shift late. Felt like an engine bog, but was actually the clutch. Found this out while I was ride'n it. Backed off the throttle and went to lean out to carve and the clutch caught back up and back shifted just as I was expecting to hit the throttle. Tossed me pretty good.

Power valves are in corectly as when I cleaned them I could not get the allen screw loose so I cleaned them while still attached to the cables. Maybe clutching but did not change a thing when instaling new track. I did notice a rpm drop from 8k down to about 7850 with the new track.

Hmmm, track too tight maybe??? What was your old track? What are you running for clutch setup. I've been a bit currious about mine. I have an 09 HCR and I am only reving to about 7850 too. What are you getting for top speed now versus before? I'm only getting up to about 80 to 85 mph tops in the wide open hard pack. It climbs like a mother though. Just seems like I should be getting a bit more out of the top end.

Also, I haven't cleaned the valves on my HCR yet, but when I did them on my MC800, I did not disconnect the cables either, but it was pretty easy to get them flipped over. Infact, since I had never done them before, I was paying particular attention to which way they came out and found that whomever had done them last, had flipped one of them over when he put them back in, so one was right side and one was upside down.
