My brother has a 08 xp 146 with all the clutch updates and still blowing belts almost every ride, i have a 08 xp 154 and dont have near the problems that he does. any info..

I have a 08 XP 154" with around 500 miles and still running the 166 belt, tried hard to blow the belt so I can get dealer to furnish a 377 with no luck yet so I purchased the 377 waiting to put on.

Dealer said mine was all good yet alignment was out. 6 belts and I had to do something. Re-aligned myself and all is good. Buddies never did blow a belt. They are not all the same.
my brother went through at least 10 to 12 belts last year and 2 already this year and skidoo claims the 377 will fix it and it doesnt, now that it is out of warranty it will most likely be to bad for us.
The longer tracks are geared down from the factory and they are not blowing the belts as bad as the shorter tracks. I know a few guys that geared the shorter tracked units down last year and went with the new belt and their issues went away.
