08 RMK 700 Ski Slop 800 miles

Granted I found one of the ski pivot bushings chipped 1/3 off but even on the other ski with the skis off the ground I have plenty of slop. The steering is rock solid, it's the play directly on the outside of the ski pivot bushings. It looks like there is too big of a gap there.

-Has anyone placed a thin washer on either side to take that slop up.
-My problem is now I'm pinching the ski and it doesn't pivot properly.

Should I just replace all the bushings associated?

How does your rubber block between the ski and spindle look? Or is all your slop side to side? If it is side to side you must be missing washers or bushings.

Yes, the slop is bad as there is no way to grease up those pivot points, no grease zerks. Gotto buy new ones, Polaris doesn't think these wear out, whatta joke.

you need to replace the 2 bushings and 1 spacer in each spindle..polaris didnt put grease zerks on these so they need to be torn down and repacked a couple times a season or you will wear out the bushings pretty quickly....I drill and tap mine so I can grease after every ride....

I'll be drilling and tapping the new liteweight spindles when I get them, $150 from Carl's, yes, they had some more available and were going through their list. ;)
