2003 RMK 800 with 151" track. Purchased summer 2015 for a new rider to try the sport. She put maybe 300 miles on it last season after purchase. I used to ride a modded 04' so I'm very familiar with these sleds. I went through the whole sled except the engine. Engine checks out fine (I measured 0.001" crank runout and even compression). Previous owner said he had IndyDan at Indy Specialties put the bottom end together; not a torque master setup but the case was line honed for proper crankshaft fit and drilled for premix (Dan's recommendation).
Modifications are: V-force 3 reeds, SLP air horn & added intakes, oil injection delete (I ran premix 32:1), Pro-Armor tether, 19-43 chaincase gearing, TEAM TSS-98 driven clutch, ice scratchers, Ski-Doo XM skis, narrowed radius rods (37" stance), RSI chromoly handlebars, smaller "race" style throttle block.
Includes small tool kit, 3 extra belts (Polaris 080), and the Simmons Gen 1 skis that were on it when purchased. For asking price I'll throw in a good clutch puller and whatever other related parts I can dig out of my collection.
Last year to prep the sled I replaced both clutch springs, primary clutch weight bushings, VES valve springs, all engine mounts, water pump belt, PTO side driveshaft bearing, added safety tether, cleaned carbs & tuned them, reinforced steering post top, removed all suspension, disassembled & greased every pivot, changed chain case oil, replaced throttle cable, and swapped out the skis. It runs well and would make for a cheap entry to the sport. It's not a mint looking sled but it's ready to ride and mechanically sound (heck, even the grip warmers work!). It is clutched & jetted for 9,000' and up.
