Hmmmm. I have two long seasons on a set and I love them. To be able to make changes on the spot is fantastic. Plus you can manipulate the shift by heel or tip loading

I have to agree with rockymtnkris adjustable weights are nice and convenient for a quick change on the hill. I know several people who use them on their m1 and love them. I would have a set myself but i got my weights for free because my buddy got his m1 ported this year and has to run lighter than stock weight.

ps x2 on getting rid of the titanium spring. Never heard anything good from them. i use the yellow cat one that my sled came with. No problems so far!

I think your gonna have to do some trial runs on the sled and keep tabs on what rpm you're pulling and adjust accordingly. imo 80grams is not a bad place to start. What your dealer recomended seems a little light. Every sled seems just a little different so i couldnt pin point an exact weight for you, thats why i think the adjustable weights are handy for that. My dad uses the mtx with the different size set screws for adjustment and they work great. really easy to change only takes a few minutes with minimal tools!

I would go to at least a 42/36 helix or 42/38 somewhere in that range with an adjustable spring. stock springs and 75g ish adjustables

I'm running all the mods posted below and when we rode the other day I was hitting between 7840-7900 and every once in a while I could here the rev limiter hit. I have a 44/40 helix but I think thats a bit much so I was thinking of trying a 42/36 or 40/36, somewhere in that range, what do you think? Right now the helix I have on is a straight 36 with 80g weights in primary and I was riding around 6000-6700 feet, I do ride as low as 5000 ft and the rev limiter would be really busy there I think. Wyoboy and rockymtnkris, whatcha think?
