08 600 flooding question

08 600HO (carbs) ....everytime it goes on its side (wifes sled) even shutting it off instantly...when I get it back upright I have to start it like it is a flooded sled(throttle all the way open). Lucky that it usually starts up on the 2nd pull. Motor will be a bit loaded up but cleans right out very fast.

This time she got it into a tough spot and I was going to ride it out and it just started to take off and it bogged and then it was stuck again!

What might cause this..I was wondering about float bowls? Other than that it runs awesome.

Whenever I roll my 07 600 it takes at least a half dozen pulls at WOT to get it to start also. I hate rolling it!

i wonder if it just the nature of the beast?

With the sled laying on it's side, the floats won't force the needles into the seats and fuel will overfill the float bowels, even with the motor shut off. You want to get it up right as soon as you can. Even so, it will take a few pulls.
