07 summit 800r problems ????

I am having troubles with my 800r summit 07
It has been check out by a dealer and still no fix
It runs strong 95% then bogs at times all warning lights go on
then tack dosn't work, alarm goes on
this happends at random times through the day
somtimes with out bogging
any ideas please

Look for moisture in the ECM plug connection, or broken/bent pins on the connector. Also, I would swap out the relay that is zip-tied above the secondary clutch, things go whacky when they don't work properly...it is cheap and easy to replace and eliminates one possibility.

If you replace the relay zip tied above the secondary on an 07, do you still have to take it to the dealer to have the code cleared and reset?

No, just plug the new relay in and go.

Fill the connector on the ECM module with dielectric grease, this helps keep the moisture out. I had same problems with mine until I did this. Best to clean the connector and contacts out first with electronic contact cleaner, or high quality 91% or better alcohol will work if you cannot find the contact cleaner. The dielectric grease is available at most auto parts stores.

OK-I plugged the relay in and the error was still there. So I cleaned the ECM Module with contact cleaner and added new dieletric grease and I still have the "PAUSE" error when I start my sled. Does anyone have anymore idea's on how to get rid of this error before I take it to the dealer? All reasonable suggestions are welcome.
