07 Apex...track or ski's, which is the first step?

NON turbo'd Apex which would be the best investment, a track or a set of Gen2 ski's? Which will I notice the most improvement from? I already have the seat, under tunnel exhaust with rear relocated battery, clutching and some other little goodies. Now I'm trying to decide which would give me the greatest improvement for the dollars? Also the Power claw is suppose to float very well but will it get the heavy pig up on top of the snow or out of a hole as well as the Challenger extreme? I don't care about hard snow conditions just powder. Thanks

It will feel like a new sled when you throw the Extreme on it. I couldnt believe the difference on mine.

Sounds unanimous!

Wow ....really that much difference huh? Damn that track is a heavy monster....LOL. How about gearing, I'm running 19 tooth top and stock bottom with reverse. (I woulod assume that's 38?) Running from sea level to 5000 ft. I run Hauck weights with a Shockwave and the RPM's are perfect how much will they drop with the track change?

TRACK....need I say more. As you have dropped some weight the track change is night and day, I did the 174-16-2.5 camo ext and the change was amazing, I run 18/43 gears (tried 17 top but a bit to small,43 is max in stock chaincase with gasket trimming) with a shockwave helix, the sled is minus aprox 95 pounds and will go anywhere. There is no more weight to lose,I have even made some billet aluminum and titanium parts. (I have a small machine shop)
I run the 7 battery and it starts in -5 aOK, any colder and the 9 would be a better choice.

Chane the gears and do the 174, you will not be sorry, then if you can swing it go to timbersled rear and drop brackets, lose 30+ lbs right there

Boost for me is next but really with all the changes its a darn nice sled...:D
