04 Rev Shocks

i've seen in alot of sled magazines that the front shocks are upside down ,,,(diferent from mine) i have an 04 rev and the front shocks have an ajustment clicky adjuster on the.adjuster is on th bottom of mine ,,and in the books the adjuster is at the top????is the a benifit to have it on top?????PLZZ HELP ME ARE MY SHOCKS WRONG

I always ran mine with the exposed rod on the top. Keeps the ice rocks ect.. from nicking the rod. I switched to Fox floats and now run the valve stem at the top for the same reason. I dont think it makes a difference?

As minute as it is, the theory is...if the shock body is attached to the bulkhead, it will result in a better reaction on the bumps. (less weight thrashing up and down, so faster response.)

Its sprung and un-sprung weight, but the difference in a sled I would imagine would be soooooo unnoticable, it come down to the fact in which position will the shock be less chance of damage, I always ran my shock bodies on the bottom.

I was just wonderind the exact same thing the other day, so I switched them around(now the shock bodies are on top) and Im just gonna do the ol' trial and error. Hopefully without the error though. Ill let you know if I notice anything different.:beer;
