04 1m 900efi foward mount

i was thinking on foward mounting my stem, does anyone make a stem to do this or do i have to build one. ive seen them on carbed sleds but not efi ones. any pics? any info would help

Contact wildchild. He builds them and does a great job. I think on the efi you have to grind one of the motor mounts a tiny bit. He will also build it as tall as you want it. Have him add 4 or 5 inches while your at it.

Right now I'm running a wildchild forward post on my '05 efi. Like Rixster said the motor mount will need to be ground down for clearance as well as the aluminum bracket that holds the oil bottle and the hood notched if you are running stock. It took a couple test fits to get all of the material removed but it's been a great mod.

On mine I went +2" and got the forward bend put in it (must have). If you go any higher you'll need to extend all of your wiring as well as the brake and throttle cables.
