03 edge 800 bog(help)

so its the 1st real run this year with my wifes 03 edge 800. it starts up and runs fine from cold but after it warms up it bogs out. i found if i work the throttle(feather it) its better but pin it or from a dead stop it bogs out. i had this before with a old 700 and it tuned out to be reeds. i pulled the one side out and they looked like new so then i started thinking exhaust vales? maybe?it ran fine last years same place temp all that, so not jetting. i rode about 10-15 miles fine then this bogg started. where should i look?

Its probably a carb setting issue. Does it bog and then come back or just bog-die out?

Check the fuel lines for the fuel pump, specifically the impulse line (from crankcase to pump). I had a similar issue that would get worse as it warmed up, turned out i had a kinked impulse line.

Pull the choke on about half way if this help its for sure a fuel issue and most likely a pilot jet is plugged up it happens quite a bit

it bogs then i let up and its good until i get back on it. then it falls on its face. ill give the carbs a good cleaning.
