02 800 reed question

Ok, installing a set of VFIII reeds on an '02 800 Summit. The Summit stock has a boost bottle. For those of you that have done this change, do you cut open the holes in the new VForce boots and install the boost bottle, or run without it?

I cut them out on my 700 Summit. My 05 summit did not have the boost bottle so I left them in.

Probably will work the same either way?

I cut them out to run the boost bottle on both the sleds i have done it to.

i was told not to cut them. i have the boost bottle removed on my 02. this was recommended to me by russ lemke who knows way more than me about doo engines. he said they work great on a 440 but dont work on the 800's
