‘11 M8 Low Elevation clutch help

Just picked up a used ‘11 M8 sno pro with high altitude clutching. I live in Minnesota and need low clutch adjustments. What is recommended? The sled has a SLP intake and a after market can. Anything will help as I am new to the snowmobiling world.

There is a chart in the engine bay with recommended weights & springs for different elevations. Lower elevations require greater clutch weights. If you're not set up to work on CVT clutches, it is probably best to let a sled shop go thru both the primary & secondary clutches as well as the DD gear box. The DD gear box needs an improved bearing if it has not been done already.

If you want budget, just do weights. But backshifting, on/off situtations and how it moves through the shift-out will no be ideal. But if you don't mind that so much, get the weights set-up so you are seeing around 8k rpms and have fun.
