If youre worried about it just pop into youre local insurance place and up youre gvw. It doesn't cost much. Then when youre dangerously overloaded and look like youre out of control dot or cvse can't do anything because youre legal![]()
Actually,they go by the manufacturer's GVW rating.They subtract the actual net weight on the registration from the manufacturer's gvw rating and that is what you can haul.Most single wheel diesels have a hard time packing 2 sleds because of the weight of the engine.BC has an insurance monopoly and while the NDP were in power they put inspectors in with the Weigh scale's and empowered them to have no common sense and create revenue by writing tickets.So if you get a Homo at the scales that has a bad day you could get hasseled.![]()
