Racing is woven into the DNA and heritage of Polaris snowmobiles and today Polaris Inc. (NYSE: PII) unveils two 2025 Polaris race snowmobiles: the 2025 600 INDY Cross Country and 600R.
“We continue to make investments in our racing program by bringing new technology and innovation to our race sleds. The Engineers who support our race sleds also work on our consumer sleds, so often racing influences the features of our snowmobiles you see out on the trails or in the backcountry,” said Jenny Nack, Polaris Snow Vice President and General Manager. “We’re excited to build on the momentum and success of Team Polaris this upcoming winter race season!”
The 2025 Polaris 600 INDY Cross Country is built to dominate cross-country race circuits from the Iron Dog to the I-500. New for 2025 is a 600 Patriot engine, a purpose-built race engine, that provides eight percent more power and a broader power-and-torque curve than the previous engine*. Using the proven Patriot architecture, along with race-specific porting and an injection system that utilizes semi-direct and throttle-body injection, this race sled is set to lead the pack this racing season.
The 2025 600R is set to conquer the toughest SnoCross tracks this season, following Emil Harr's Pro Championship winning campaign last season with Judnick Motorsports 600R backed by Factory Polaris Racing. For 2025, the 600R has received a few key updates to improve durability on the track.
“After crushing it last season, the Polaris Factory Race teams are gearing up to exceed expectations this year and are thrilled about the fresh upgrades to the Polaris race sled lineup,” said Thomas Rager, Race Manager, Polaris Snow.
