Snow is on the way and KLIM is releasing a healthy collection of new and redesigned winter gloves ready for high-speed trails, big mountain powder and everything in between. Fully waterproof and highly dexterous, the collection of new KLIM snowmobile gloves for men and women offers an unprecedented array of features and options.
KLIM has a well-earned reputation in snow glove technology, so when they say they’ve engineered the most dexterous, mobile, highly tactile gloves to date, it’s not to be taken lightly. All new for this season are the non-insulated Spool and Inversion GTX Gloves. Both waterproof gloves feature fully bonded +GORE Grip Technology – the best glove layer laminate system for creating a unified feeling glove and perfect feedback from the controls.
These gloves share Mult-e-Touch™ screen fingertips, goggle squeegees, silicone control grips, and reflective hits, but there are a few key differences separating these GORE-TEX gloves from each other. The Inversion GTX uses a nylon spandex palm with water resistant suede overlays and the Spool uses a full leather palm and added knuckle protection to take the sting off tree branches. Even during testing stages, both these gloves quickly became the favorites of top riders like Dan Adams, Chris Burandt, Matt Entz and Jared Sessions.
The PowerXross series of gloves, which have become a gold standard among mountain riders with their highly functional backhand insulation and grip articulation, are redesigned with improvements all around. The lightweight backhand insulation combines with articulated fingers and +GORE Grip Technology that bonds key layers inside the gloves for great tactile feedback, avoiding the movement of layers between your hands and the controls.
Built on the fan-favorite waterproof PowerXross Glove platform, KLIM developed a female-specific version called the Bombshell. These gloves are tailored specifically for women riders and feature 60% more insulation over the mens PowerXross. All PowerXross and Bombshell gloves also have new Mult-e-Touch™ thumb and forefingers for easy cell phone use, allowing fast Instagram Story posting.
The combination of an insulated backhand and highly dexterous fingers make the PowerXross and Bombshell gloves highly versatile for a wide range of conditions.
For trail riders, the legendary Klimate Gauntlet Glove is redesigned with specially mapped insulation thicknesses and the grip needed for high-speed gloves. Joining the Klimate Gauntlet Glove is the new Ember Gauntlet Glove, designed specifically for women. KLIM took the functionality of the Klimate Gauntlet and added more insulation while adjusting the fit to properly suit women riders.
These new gloves from the Idaho-based company cover the bases from high-output mountain riding with the Spool and Inversion GTX, to moderate backcountry cold with the PowerXross and Bombshell, and high speed frigid trails with the Klimate and Ember gloves.
