Signal Searching
If someone becomes buried, pinpoint the last seen location on the slide path, and begin the beacon signal search at that point. This will typically be above or uphill from where the victim is actually buried. Search by going across the slope with the beacon in search mode. Then turn downhill, go about 40 meters down the slope, and come back across. Keep repeating until you pick up a signal.
