Plenty Of Power

The Hardcore touts a 794cc two-stroke C-Tec2 engine designed to be responsive to the touch. Crack the throttle and the track spins. It’s that simple. It turns out about 160 hp in a very efficient manner.

Combine that with the Arctic Cat CVT drive system and you have an instant power transfer with smooth shifting and timely backshifting. The drive clutch features a roller bearing on the shaft for auto-adjusting belt tension.

The Hardcore comes with either a 153- or 162-inch Power Claw track. The Power Claw is a lightweight, single-ply track with a 3-inch pitch designed specifically for deep snow. The stagger-set 3-inch paddle towers are curved forward so they won’t fold on the hardpack while they hook up in the powder.

The Hardcore also come with Arctic Cat’s ProClimb 7 G2 skis that are designed to float in the powder while holding a rail on the trail.

The Hardcore is for hardcore riders who demand the most for all types of snow conditions.
