As good as our ride on Monday was in western Wyoming near Brooks Lake Lodge dare we say our second day was even better?
In a word, yes.
It snowed—again—overnight and that meant more powder on top of the first day’s dump. It was so much fun and the snow was so good.
We spent the day riding in pockets/little openings in the shadow of Brooks Mountain. There was pocket of snow after pocket of snow.
The snow was particularly good over near Upper Jade Lake.
The snow may have been slow coming to this part of western Wyoming this season but it’s hear now and it’s good.
Thanks to Brooks Lake Lodge (www.brookslake.com) for two days of hosting SnoWest Magazine and showing us around.
We’ll have a full report this fall in SnoWest Magazine.
