When it’s time to cut that really technical line, or trees start feeling really tight, this is the sled that allows a rider to redefine those comfort zones.
Based on the REV Gen4 architecture and powered by the Rotax 850 E-Tec, the ideas for many of the Expert Package’s rider-inspired features come straight from Ski-Doo’s team of Backcountry Experts and loyal hard-core consumers. The ultimate goal with a sled like this is to allow seasoned riders to continue to expand their arsenal and discover new ways to find the next hit of “That Ski-Doo Feeling.”
Returning to the Summit lineup for 2020 are the Summit X, Summit SP and Summit Sport. Riders of the X and SP will enjoy the effortless ride of the nimble REV Gen4 platform with improved running boards and the instant response of the powerful Rotax 850 E-Tec engine. SP buyers also have the choice of the highly-touted Rotax 600R E-Tec. All REV Gen4 Summit sleds also have the option of adding Ski-Doo’s exclusive SHOT battery-less push-button starter system—one of the most highly sought options available in the industry today.
The Summit Sport returns for 2020 offering more budget-conscious riders a fully capable sled at a wallet-friendly price point. It’s rigid REV-XP chassis and strong, dependable Rotax 600 Carb engine creates a sled that’s easy to maneuver with plenty of power keeping them firmly in the deep-snow game.
As deep snow sleds continue to grow more popular in lower elevations, Ski-Doo is again offering two calibrations for the drive train on Summit X and the new Expert Package; one for high altitude, above 4000 feet, and a sea level calibration for those who ride below 4000 feet.
